Rebel on Melrose

Hello Lovelies, so this past Friday I had a day off from work and wanted to spend it wisely. What better way to spend my time than to go shopping?! My girlfriend and I spent the day at Melrose Place followed by dinner at Gracias Madre, a vegan, Mexican restaurant ....delicious!! So now to the outfit- I'm obsessed with wearing t-shirts, especially band t-shirts. Who doesn't like Sublime? I decided to match my Sublime shirt with my leather joggers and my blue pumps. I love this outfit because it's super comfortable and convenient to shop in. Plus I feel like a rebel matching my dressy heels with a band t-shirt but love the combination. I hope you enjoy and feel free to check out where you could get the same items!

Art & Architecture

As a fashion student, I am always asked what inspires me and lately I have been obsessing over French art and architecture. Most of my lines and designs are inspired from these beautiful places. My phone background is even a picture of the Versailles Palace... OBSESSED!!! These are just a couple of pictures that I put together & that I love to look at daily, so I decided to share it with you lovelies. Enjoy!

Sensual Indulgence

Hello beauty's! As you know I am a fashion student and we are always working on projects. This project I was assigned to create a theme board, a color palette, and eight front and back quick sketches. I love the direction this line is going. I'm going for more of a drape and structured look  within my designs. I named this line Sensual Indulgence. Enjoy everyone!

On Saturday's We Wear Coral

Hello Lovelies! Don't we all love getting dressed up and going to lunch with our girlfriends? Yes we do! I decided to wear my coral wrap top and matched it with a simple pencil skirt and my classic black pumps on this Saturday afternoon. Plot twist- I'm wearing something other then black. This is a big deal so I decided to take some pics of the outfit. Enjoy beauties!

Decorative Spirit

I'm obsessed with trends and the whole concept that goes into it. Last year I was assigned to forecast three trends that will be happening next year with the young contemporary market and also come up with a color palette with colors that will be trending for spring/summer 16. I named my line Decorative Spirit. Enjoy lovelies!

Meet Me in the Alley

Once again it was cloudy in Los Angeles so I wanted to go for a comfortable look due to the grey weather, but of course still look stylish. Living downtown you tend to take a lot of shortcuts to get to your destination so I decided to take these photos in a random alley (sketchy I know). I went with black jeans, a cropped sweatshirt, a leather hat, and of course a dark red lip. I was feeling quite lazy today so attempting to look like a bad A$$ in a backwards leather hat and huge sunglasses just felt right. Check out what I wore & also to see where you could get the same items.

Dynamic Essence

Believe it or not this was one of the hardest projects I was ever assigned! This was all based on photoshop except for my CAD sketches which was on Illustrator. We had to create our own fabric swatches and then transfer our fabric onto our technical flats. It was really cool because I got to create  my own plaid and other texture fabrics from scratch! After we had to get a model from the internet and then place our fabric on their garment. This project took over five weeks! But I'm very proud of how it turned out and the skills I gained from this project.
